Fall Classes for tweens & teens: 3 skill levels
9 lesson session
Classes begin September 25th & end December 11th, 2021
Beginner: Sleepover Stars
Saturdays 10AM-12 PM
Never sewn before? No worries, Sleepover Stars is the class for you. In it, you will learn how to use the sewing machine, pin, measure and prepare fabric. You choose fabrics and sew your own 3 piece line: pajama bottoms, toiletry bag and embellished headband that will make you the star of your next sleepover!
Intermediate: Fall Jogging Pants
Saturdays 12:30-2:30 PM
You'll be right on trend wearing the cool, comfy jogging pants we'll be making in this class. Students will learn how to follow the instructions in a commercial pattern to make a really wearable fall basic. This is a great intro to working with a pattern and doing a few more advanced techniques. Some machine sewing experience is necessary.
Advanced: Design it & Make it!
Saturdays 3-5 PM
If you’ve been looking for just the right thing; clothing, costume, vintage upcycling or whatever but haven’t found it, why not sew it yourself! In this session, advanced sewers can go from a design sketch to pattern and finally to sewing a truly unique creation. This is a great way to expand your skills and really express your creativity.
Please note: There will be no classes on Oct 9, Nov 6 or Nov 27th
