Fall Classes for tweens & teens: 3 skill levels
10 lesson session
Classes begin September 21st & end December 14th, 2019
Beginner: Sleepover Stars
Saturdays 10AM-12 PM
Never sewn before? No worries, Sleepover Stars is the class for you. In it, you will learn how to use the sewing machine, pin, measure and prepare fabric. You choose fabrics and sew your own 3 piece line: pajama bottoms, toiletry bag and embellished headband that will make you the star of your next sleepover!
Saturdays 12:30-2:30 PM
This class is for students who have some sewing experience, and is the first step to becoming an independent sewist. Students should register for either Intermediate 1 or 2, we will sew the same 2 projects in both sessions. The only difference is the time classes meet. See below for project descriptions...
Saturdays 3-5 PM
Students will be taught how to cut and construct 2 pieces for a fun fall wardrobe. We will be working with stretch fabric to make a pair of leggings in their choice of on-trend prints, solids or textures. Our second piece is a coordinating kimono style top for which we will be making the pattern!
Included in this session: Fall Holiday Projects!
In addition to all the above projects, we will be sewing some really special pieces to celebrate
Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas/Hannukkah
Please note: There will be no classes on Oct. 12 and Nov.9th.
